Off Balance Program

Off Balance Rehabilitation Program

Physical Therapy Program

The Physical Therapy Department at Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C. is pleased to offer a program we call “Off Balance”.

Our balance is the ability to control the body’s position in an upright posture. It is the result of interaction between us, the activity we are attempting to perform and the environment that we are in.

Are you at risk of falling or have you fallen before? One of the most important risk factors for falls and subsequent injury is impaired balance.

Our program consists of a two-part assessment of those factors that affect balance. As a result, a plan is initiated to address those individual factors. The sessions take place twice a week, over a four-to-six week period, in the clinic with a clinical staff member.

Enrollment in the Off Balance program is by physician referral only; visits are filed through your health insurance.

For more information, contact Aimee Keedy, P.T. or Whitney Rivenbark-Macklem, P.T.A. at (251) 625-3178.
